Conductor
IRZAM RAJASA DASTRIANSYAH
Irzam started his conducting experience in 1998 as the conductor of The Trisakti University Student Choir under the guidance of Bonar Sihombing, when he led the group in numerous events through his time in the group. In the year 2000, Irzam continues his study in Univeristy of Indonesia, where he joined Paragita UI under the baton of Aning Katamsi. He has been actively joined workshops and masterclasses for choral as well as orchestra by Phillip Green (Australia), Jonathan Velasco (Philippines), also from Indonesian maestro in conducting, Budi Utomo Prabowo.
In December 2005, Irzam co-founded Infinito Singers. As the group's choir master and conductor, Irzam has managed to bring this group to join two of the most prestigious Indonesian national choir championships, ITB Choir Festival and Parahyangan Catholic University Choir Competition. In 2006, at their first attempt joining ITB Choir Festival, the group was awarded 3rd national prize in mixed choir category. The following year, in 2007, the group joined another national choir competition held by Parahyangan University, and was awarded 2nd national prize in Musica Profana category and 3rd place for Popular Music Category. The latest competition joined by the group was ITB Choir Festival in 2008, where they were awarded Gold medal for female Choir category (singing using the name "Infinito Nightingales") and silver medal for mixed choir category.
Irzam's adventure with Infinito Singers continues when the group was invited to perform in a non-competition "Jeju International Choir Festival" by the government of South Korea on July 2009, and in the same year, was also invited by East Works Entertainment, a Japanese recording company, to perform in Roppongi Hills Arena, performing six concerts in 3 days between 22-24 December 2009. During their visit to Tokyo, they also had the chance to perform a special concert at the Indonesian Embassy for Indonesians living in Tokyo.
As a student of University of Indonesia, Irzam is currently is enrolled as a member of Paragita UI, University of Indonesia's Student Choir, where in 2009, he was a member of the team competing in 46th Internationaler Chorwettbewerb, in di Spittal, Austria, July 2009. Indonesia was awarded 3rd prize for Volkslied (Folksong Category) and 1st place winner for Kunstlied (Classic Category), In the same year, on November 2009, Irzam conducted Paragita UI in a national choir competition for university students, gaining the 2nd national prize winner for the group and the title of Best Conductor for himself.
Pianist
FENINA FAINE
Fenina, an architect who specializes in healthcare facilities design, was born on August 2, 1981. She started her classical piano training in “Sekolah Musik YPM” since 1987, and finished her piano teaching study under the guidance of Rudy Laban, thus became one of the piano teachers at the music school until 2005, when she decided to finish her Architecture major in Trisakti University.
To channel her hobby in music, Fenina joined Eclipse Band from 1998-2002 with Irzam Rajasa, and with the band, played songs of the 80s and early 90s. It was Irzam who introduced Fenina to the world of choral music, where she joined the Trisakti University Student Choir as its pianist, until she graduated. Currently, with several alumni of the Trisakti Student Choir, joined Infinito Singers where she is one of the proud members. Aside from his activities with Infinito Singers, Fenina also teaches piano lessons at Sekolah Musik Yayasan Musik Jakarta, Sekolah Musik Bina Seni Suara (BISS) and Lembaga Musik FARABI, while also keeping her architectural passion going, developing master plan for hospitals and other health facilities.
